The tool was designed for users from the development sector accessing academic materials towards their research. They also required a provision to upload documents and had them summarise it with the help of AI. Since the website was going to be text-heavy, the information architecture was designed to distribute data without making it feel bulky. For example, the use of tabs within pages to categorise and divide sections.

The style guide and design system was developed based on the brand guidelines stipulated by the Gates Foundation.
